From I-15 (in Escondido) drive East on Hwy 78. Turn right (south) at N Broadway/Hwy 78. Turn left on E Washington Ave. Turn right at N Ash St. Continue SE on CA Hwy 78/San Pasqual Valley Road. Drive 2 miles past San Diego Wild Animal Park. Turn right at first driveway east of San Diego Archaeological Center. Follow gravel drive south, past white house, through Santa Ysabel Creek. Wells are located on top of southern creek bank, west side of dirt road.
