ESTABLISHMENT AND HISTORY.--This cluster well site was established as a continuous monitoring site by the U.S. Geological Survey in May 27, 2008.
GAGE.--Instrumentation consists of a Design Analysis H500XL data logger transmitting through a Design Analysis SE-300 GOES HDR transmitter (DCP), five Insitu model Level Troll 500 non-vented pressure transducers, and one Insitu model Baro Troll 500 barometer. A rechargeable 12-volt battery and solar panel provides power. Instruments are housed in a "Knack box", approx 10 feet north of the subterranean concrete and steel vault (with a USGS 2640 lock).
Altitude of gage is 35ft, from topographic map.

WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--The following are originally reported depths; soundings are considered accurate to within 1.0 ft:

19S/2W-2C8 1430 1190

ACCURACY.--Records are rated good to excellent, provided the sensor/cable assemblies do not slip or are not damaged/disturbed during measuring/sampling activities in the vault.
COOPERATION.--The station is operated under cooperative agreement with the Tijuana County Water District.
MEASURING POINT.--The current MPs for all wells is the top of the 2-inch PVC casing. The MP elevations for each well are as follows:
Well No. MP Elev. above/below LSD (ft) 19S/2W-2C7 0.94 blwAll wells are located in a main vault, and each well is identified by number on the casing and on the cap.
19S/2W-2C8 0.78 blw
19S/2W-2C9 0.64 blw
19S/2W-2C10 0.46 blw
19S/2W-2C11 0.22 blw

WATER LEVEL RECORD.--This cluster-well was established as a continuous monitoring site by the U.S. Geological Survey on May 27, 2007. Water-level data are collected at 15-minute intervals, and are reported as "Depth Below LSD" and "Water Level, NAVD."
MISSING RECORD: The 2010 WY record for Well #1 is usable except for the following periods:
Dec.7 - 14 (8 days): No data recorded.
Mar. 22 (1 day): Bad noon unit value "X'd out" in Hydra.
TOTAL MISSING RECORD (WY 2010): 9 (of 365) days, or 2.5%

WATER LEVEL CORRECTIONS.--Water-level check-measurements are made according to standard USGS procedures. Measurements get recorded into a handheld PDA using the MONKES program. (PDA/MONKES usage started during the early 2010 WY.) MONKES files get uploaded into GWSI and are archived.
DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 45.26 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: MEASURINGPOINT.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Water years 1995-96, 2005 to current year.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD.--May 2007 to current year.
