1: Start out going NORTH on TECH CENTER DR toward SCRIPPS POWAY PKWY. 0.1 miles
2: Turn LEFT onto SCRIPPS POWAY PKWY. 4.4 miles
3: SCRIPPS POWAY PKWY becomes MERCY RD. <0.1 miles
4: Merge onto I-15 SOUTH via the ramp on the LEFT. 11.2 miles
5: I-15 S becomes CA-15 S. 6.6 miles
6: Take the MAIN ST exit toward NATIONAL CITY BL. 0.4 miles
7: From the stoplight at the end of the Main St. exit ramp cross Main St. and proceed straight ahead to Naval Base gate. You MUST show a valid Government ID and be in a vehicle with US Government license plates to be allowed to enter the base. A copy of the USGS ID is in the approved ID book in the guard shack.
8: Make an immediate left turn after the guard shack and proceed straight to the end of chain link fence on the left side of the road. Make a left turn into paved parking lot on left. Well vault is located in paved parking lot maked with 4 yellow metal corner posts.
Vault is located in semi-fenced paved parking lot directly east of guard shack at the Main St. / Division St. gate. Vault is marked by four yellow metal corner posts.
