San Bernardino Optimal Basin Management
Water-Management Model
A water-management model can come in many forms. Most water-management models come from the field of operations research or systems engineering. More recently, decision support systems have been used to analyze water systems and to facilitate decision making. The primary goal of water-management models is to capture the basic structure of the water system, to investigate interaction among the many components, and to identify possible improvements in the system.
