GAGE.-Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is sea level (levels by Southern California Edison Co.).
REMARKS.-Reservoir is formed on natural lake by rock-fill dam completed in 1921. Usable capacity, 9,789 acre-ft,
between elevations 10,048.80 ft, invert of outlet, and 10,090.40 ft, crest of spillway. At times, a cofferdam 600
ft upstream affects the storage below about 800 acre-ft, due to the constriction of flow past the cofferdam.
Figures given represent usable contents. Water is used for power development downstream.
